Here’s a list of countries that have slapped a travel ban on SA so far -United Kingdom -The United Kingdom (UK) was the first country to place travel bans from South Africa and five other Southern African countries as a precautionary measure to contain the spread of the virus.European Union - On Friday, in a Twitter post, European Union president Ursula von der Leyen said the Commission would propose, in close coordination with member states, to activate the emergency brake to stop air travel from the African region where the B.1.1.529 has been reported.United States of America - The Biden administration joined a chorus of nations prohibiting flights from South Africa and several other southern African countries in the wake of the discovery of the new variant.Seychelles, Japan, France , Singapore, Israel, India , Germany , Canada, Australia and the Philippines , and The Netherlands.
Next time we should ban all these countries from entering South Africa and protect the people of these country.
