Here Are Photos Of 5 Dangerous Roads You May Not Know Are In Existence

There are numerous routes that many of us have yet to explore, and the adrenaline rush they provide makes them especially thrilling. Some of the most dangerous roads in the world are impassable.

These roads, which have grown famed for their precipitous drops, small passages, difficult conditions, and punishing terrain, necessitate the highest level of driving proficiency.

So, whether you want to plan your next adventure or just stress yourself out, here are 5 of the world's most challenging, dangerous, and bizarre roads to travel.

1) Road of Death, Yungas Bolivia

The Death Road has been featured in everything from Top Gear and the History Channel to Hamish & Andy and Tin Tin due to its lethal attraction.

So you've summoned the bravery to embark on a Death Road tour. Are you nervous? There's no need to worry since, despite the foreboding name, you're unlikely to die. Nonetheless, the journey is definitely perilous.

2) Taroko Gorge Road

Old Yungas, often known as "The Death Road," was named the "world's most perilous road" by the International Development Bank in 1995. Every year, more than 200 people are killed in trucks, cars, and public buses as a result of the roads' steep curves and terrifying cliffs. The good news is that an other route has been constructed, giving you a much safer choice.

3) Le Passage Du Gois

The Passage du Gois in France is located in Vendée. Meanwhile, the road appears to be secure at first glance, but wait till the tides come in and drown the entire route. Finally, this road is submerged for two hours per day, and any car that crosses it during that period will float away.

4) Zoji la pass:

Zoji La is a high Himalayan mountain pass in the Indian union territory of Ladakh. The pass, located in the Dras, connects the Kashmir Valley to the west, the Dras and Suru valleys to the northeast, and the Indus Valley to the east.

5) Tianmen Mountain Road:

If you're searching for a tough road trip, take the Tianmen Mountain Road in China. Despite not being as small as the other routes listed, this road has multiple turns and twists. Vehicles approaching from the opposite way may collide as a result, resulting in an accident.
