Now there’s a certain post online that’s been making rounds on the social media, saying The Zimbabwean Exemption Permit Holders Association, representing over R250,000 Zimbabweans living in South Africa is contending or pleading with the South Africa government to please give those Zimbabweans endless or permanent occupancy in South Africa.
One other thing that they also pleaded to get or acquire from South Africa is for the governments to issue them South African ID cards, since they have been living in the country for an extended period of time which isn’t supposed to be.
As seen above, the reason why they are pushing for the endless occupancy or stay in the country right now is because their permits are expiring in November very soon, so they are now left with just two weeks before they will illegally be in this country.
Based on reports, no break lights from the Home affairs has been shown to the Zimbabweans request about their permanent stay yet and if indeed they don't, you can not really blame or condemn them because South Africa is still facing its own problems that needs to be fixed.
In my own opinion, i think the Zimbabweans should go back to their own country which is Zimbabwe to fix their problems and not hide in this country in search of greener pastures.
