If You See This In A Public Bathroom Or Hotel Please Do This - OPINION

While it is true that we all use public restrooms and stay in hotel rooms, do you really know who is watching you as you go about your business?

While technology advances at the speed of light with new products and gadgets designed to make our lives easier, there is also a dark side to technology that you may not realize until it is too late. There are individuals who seek to harm others through criminal activity, which can be as simple as installing a hook.

While these hooks appear to be standard hooks, they are actually designed for use with a much darker lens.

Take note of the double hooks, which are not common on pads.

Is something perplexing you?

They can be easily attached to any wall in the house or to public restrooms, and you probably wouldn't think twice about it.

So what's wrong with a seemingly harmless hook?

Because this wall hook conceals a miniature camera that records individuals in bathrooms, hotel rooms, and changing rooms.

Women, in particular, were secretly recorded while showering or changing.

Their privacy has been violated completely, and they are completely unaware.

Doesn't that make you reflect on all the hotel rooms you've stayed in and wonder if you were being secretly monitored?

Surprisingly, these small snooping cameras are relatively easy to locate and even easier to install.

The camera includes a charger and a transfer cable, and the hook is standard fare from a hardware store.

Through the small hole at the top, the camera records video and audio.

Often, the camera's images end up on the Internet, where they can be viewed by the entire world without the subject's knowledge.

This hole indicates that there is a problem with the hook and that criminal activity could be occurring.

However, there are worse things that could happen.

Want to know what makes the situation all the more frightening?

These wireless cameras can be remotely stored, and the wireless remote communicates through walls.

As a result, someone as close as the next room could examine the images.

That alone should dissuade you from ever checking into a hotel again.

One thing you may notice is that it is positioned incorrectly in the room.

For instance, if you see a hook in an unusual location, trust your instincts.

Occasionally, while the camera is recording, you can see the light.

This is a signal that you should exit your hiding place immediately and contact the police.

What makes this situation so frightening is that criminals can easily purchase these spy camera hooks.

While they were initially designed to increase security around your home, in the wrong hands, they can aid in the hunt for unsuspecting victims.

Fortunately, knowledge is power.

If you are aware that hangers may contain cameras and exercise extra caution when traveling or using a public restroom to undress, you can safeguard yourself against unwanted snoops.

Unfortunately, it appears to be becoming more prevalent by the day, but by raising awareness of the problem, we can help put an end to it.

Because no one should have the right to violate your privacy.
