Following a week of FIFA International break, the DStv premiership will resume this weekend with some mouthwatering fixtures set to take place.
We look at the fixtures that will take place this weekend starting on Saturday.
Sekhukhune United vs Cape Town City.
The game is scheduled to kickoff at 15:30 on Saturday 16 October.
Sekhukhune are currently occupying the seventh position in the log table and the club will be looking for ways to slide into the top five.
Meanwhile Cape Town City are on tenth position and a win Saturday could get the Citizens inside of the top eight.
SuperSport United vs Baroka FC
The game is scheduled this coming Saturday, 16 October at 17:00.
Supersport will be looking for a victory to close the gap from Mamelodi Sundowns who are at the summit of the log table with four points clear.
Baroka will be looking to cement their position in the top eight, the club is currently on eight position and at a high risk of dropping down if below teams collect points.
Kaizer Chiefs vs Chippa United
The game is scheduled this Saturday at 17:30.
Both sides will head to the game desperate for points after having stuttering start to the season.
The two sides sit on 12th and 13th position respectively on the log table with Chiefs on 12th position after collecting six points in six games and Chilli Boys are on 13th position with five points after six games played.
Swallows FC vs Stellenbosch FC
The game is scheduled to take place on Sunday and will be a last game for this weekend.
Swallows will approach the game under a lot of pressure since the team has not had a victory in a while.
The Dube Birds are on 14th position in the log table with five points after six games played and will be desperately for maximum points.
However they will come up against a side that has been very impressive so far this season.
The Stellies are among of the teams who are chasing the top spot in the log table as the Clive Barker's boys are only four points behind Sundowns and a victory on Sunday will get them into a beautiful position in the log table.
