And whether we realise it or not, we are more dependent (or addicted) on our smartphones than we have ever been in the past. There are currently more than 3.5 billion smartphone users across the globe, and each day, these individuals use their devices for an average of three hours and fifteen minutes. It is more vital than ever before to protect one's eyes from the damage that might be caused by using a cell phone. Long-term usage of a smartphone has been linked to a variety of adverse health effects, including but not limited to headaches, blurred vision, dry and irritated eyes, and weariness.

Maintain a space of 16 to 18 inches (40 to 45 centimetres) between the screen of your smartphone and your eyes when using it for extended periods of time.
5. Make Sure You Have Enough Light. When it is completely dark outside, a great number of people check the internet on their mobile devices. By continuing to do this, you put your eyes in jeopardy. If you must use your phone when it is dark, turn the brightness down as much as it will go; nevertheless, it is best to avoid doing so if at all possible.
