I've just come across a troubling fact, something that I was previously not aware but something that makes me wonder. On the recent months South African TikTokers have been becoming very popular, they have been amassing millions of views for the application. However if you go to the website for the application you will find that South Africa is one of the only countries not getting paid by Tiktok.
This means that South African creators are being cheated out of money they could make from this content. This fact was made clear to me by a creator on the site. Whose video you can watch by clicking the link down below. She is starting campaign along with other creators to try and get TikTok to notice them. Hopefully she gets somewhere.

Personally I find it very unfair that as content creators South African TikTokers have been cheated out of a lot of money they could have made from their views. Hopefully this changed that and TikTok pays them whatever is owed to them. Tell me what you think of this in the comments and follow for more news as it happens.
