Pressure is mounting for Chiefs to finish in the top 8 and the remaining matches have proven that it will not be an easy task for the team to accomplish its mission. Chiefs are struggling to beat small teams and with TTM fighting for their survival in the PSL, the game will not be easy at all. If Chiefs still fails to win today it would be the worst Chiefs ever and it is a bad reflection of the team's rich history.
It has now become normal for Chiefs supporters to lose and they are no longer worried about being teased by Sundowns or Pirates supporters like it used to be. Every team that plays against Chiefs is guaranteed at least a point or maximum points, with a loss being the worst case scenario. Gavin Hunt has tried to rotate players looking for a winning combination but the frustration continues.
Chiefs must try by all means to protect its already damaged image by atleast fighting to finish in the top 8. The FIFA ban has been used as a shield for Chiefs' poor performance due to lack of quality players, but this is questionable if the current Chiefs players cannot even beat small teams without big name quality players. In this regard the failure can also point out to the motivation and the dedication of the players, team balance, playing formation, tactics, etc.
