U.S. Government Orders Whatsapp & Other Tech Companies To Help Agencies To Spy On Users

The United States government have been ordering tech companies to help their agencies spy on users in their country and other countries, including China. They have recently ordered one of the leading text messaging apps, WhatsApp, to help them spy on Chinese smartphone users and they didn't give any explanation. Image credit: Google

A cyber security expert has explained that the U.S. is using an old American surveillance law to carry out their secret surveillance on many Chinese users. Some people might know that U.S. are experts in spying on their neighbouring countries' citizens for a long time and a recent secret spying program on seven China users is not something new, but what they are looking for or what they are targeting is unknown. Tech companies, such as Facebook and Telegram are other targets for spying programs on unknown people to the public. Image credit: Google
