Players all over the World who wear jersey no ten for their teams, are not your average players . They are exceptionally good and talented individuals who possess all sorts of dribbling skills never seen before.
Ronaldinho, the Great Pele, Maradona, Lionel Messi, to mention just a few. Here at home we had the Black Prince , Jomo Sono, the late Chippa Moloi, and in recent years, Scars Thintwa, Aubrey The Great Makhopela and Teko Modise while at Sundowns.
So when the 20years old and the Chairman of Royal AM FC gave himself jersey number Ten , he must have raised a few ebrowsconsidering he intended to play top-flight football. But as soon as Players from Bloemfontein Celtic, now defunct, arrived, he had a change of heart. He silently retired from playing football, and decided to take off a heavy load off his shoulders by allowing the captain of the team Ndumiso Mabena to use the number. It was a clever move by the Chairman to let Gifted players have the number ten jersey. Jersey number ten is just too heavy for your everyday average players.
But I'm sure some people are disappointed not to see the Chairman playing in top-flight football , wearing jersey Number Ten worn by greatest footballers ever, like Pele and Jomo Sono.
Im glad the Chairman of Royal AM FC did the sensible thing by staying in his line.
