Jusuf Maart of Sekhukhune United and Bafana Bafana is close to joining Kaizer Chiefs. Maart was attentively monitored by bosses throughout the 2021/22 season for his outstanding Sekhukhune performance in the first season of the DStv Premiership.
Hugo Bross rewarded the 26-year-old midfielder's dependability with another call to Bafana's 37-man squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
According to sources close to the issue, the Soweto giants have offered an offer to follow former Orlando Pirates midfielder Sekhukhune, with signs that he will take the offer as is.
Yusuf Maart is likely to join the Chiefs from Sekhukhun United at the end of the season. Negotiations are ongoing behind the scenes, according to the source, and things are looking up for all parties involved. A statement is expected by the end of the season.
Later in the season, the Chiefs are likely to announce Kwinika from Stellenbosch, as well as other midfielders, as well as Siyethemba Sithebe from AmaZulu.
