Parker scored a brace to help Amakhosi inflict a first defeat of the season on SuperSport United

Bernard Parker of Kaizer Chiefs scored a goal to help Amakhosi earn SuperSport United's first loss of the season on Sunday.

'Hond,' as he is affectionately called, scored in the 49th minute of extra time to give Amakhosi a 2-1 victory, lifting Stuart Baxter's side to fifth place in the standings.

Bernard Parker was awarded the man of the match grant for his exhibition.

Parker had gone 65 games without scoring an association goal (since March 2019). That was the longest time he had gone between association goals throughout his career.
