Pirates Reportedly Interested In Foreign Strikers?

Orlando Pirates football club has an eye for talent outside the country when they looking to strengthen their squad especially with the signing of strikers they tend to look abroad.

Pirates last striker signing Kwame Peprah is a Ghanaian striker and the club opt to sign him because of the plenty goals he scored for his former club which was the key to Pirates noticing foreign striker.

Kwame Peprah had a slow start to find his goalscoring form with the club, but as soon as he scored in December last year, he carried on with his form in front of goal.

Gabadinho Mhango is also a foreign striker as he's a Malawian international, but unlike Peprah he was a fringe player for the club this season, and there's a high possibility that he might leave the club soon.

Tshegofatso Mabasa is also linked with a move away from Pirates, and it's believed that Pirates might be giving two exceptionally talented Nigerian players a chance to prove themselves to potentially fill the void should Mhango and Mabasa leave the club.

The two Nigerian players Daniel Dioh and Jesse Francis enjoyed trials with Mamelodi Sundowns, but because Sundowns foreign quota is exhausted the club at the time couldn't opt to keep the players.

According to a source, Orlando Pirates is now interested in luring the players to strengthen their side for the 2022/23 season. The last Nigerian player that joined the club was Olisa Ndah and he was one of the club's most outstanding players this season along with Peprah who also did good in his first season.

Orlando Pirates is doing good with new foreign players, and if they want to add more, they can go ahead as their foreign players was in form this season which means the club is attracting just the right players from abroad.
