2 Things That Could Happen To Saul Niges After His Terrible Carabao Performance - Opinion

As it stands, Chelsea Fc are far from their best form though Thomas Tuchel's second squad which is made up of the likes of Kepa Arizabalaga, Timor Werner, Loftus-Cheek Saul Niges are amazing, they still perform below average.

Chelsea made progress in their first Carabao cup and in the next round, they have been booked to hit the horns with Southampton. The Blues remain unbeaten this season, having won 6 matches with just a draw in all competitions.

Chelsea have won four Premier League games and are top of the Premier League table with 13 points. Thomas Tuchel brought 3 new additions to the team before the summer transfer window officially closed. Marcus Betinelli was brought in from Fulham while Romelu Lukaku was brought in to Stamford Bridge from Inter Milan.

The Belgium international has been sensational since joining the club in west London. Chelsea also brought in Saul Niges from Atletico Madrid on the final day of the summer transfer window.

Anyways, here are two (2) things I believe could happen to Saul Niges after Chelsea Fc drew with Aston Villa.

1. Thomas Tuchel had Saul Niges in his starting XI against Aston Villa. The Spaniard did nothing impressive in his debut game for Chelsea as he was then substituted to keep Chelsea on tract. The January transfer window is in three months. If the Spainaird doesn't fit into Thomas Tuchel's plans, he may go on loan in January.

Saul still looks lost in Chelsea's midfield, he always chooses the safest option in crossing but he has improved more than his previous appearances, he could improve in the next few games if Thomas Tuchel gives him more chances.

2. Saul Niges could struggle to break into the Chelsea first team with his current form.

Saul Niges failed to perform well in his second game for the Blues against Aston Villa as Chelsea midfielder, Ruben Loftus-Cheek was the best for the Blues against Aston Villa. Loftus-Cheek's superb form may have given him an early role in Thomas Tuchel's side, but Saul will struggle to get into the starting eleven.Knowing the Chelsea management fully well, Saul Niges might be sent away come the next transfer market.
