Fans Feel 'Played' After Transfer U-Turn For Kaizer Chiefs Target

The January transfer window has honestly been a snooze fest so far as we are yet to see drama or shocking moves. The club that has been the busiest has to be Mamelodi Sundowns and that's mainly because they didn't bring in a lot of payers at the beginning of the season. The Soweto Giants gave been linked with a couple of players but nothing has been confirmed at the moment as we approach the end of the window.

Kaizer Chiefs has been linked to the star for the longest time as he was rumored to have been signed at the beginning of the season. They reinforced their interest during the current window and looked to be in pile position. Mamelodi Sundowns have since backed off after signing Tebogo Mokena leaving Amakhosi with the perfect opportunity to try and lure this star to Naturena.

Fans took to social media to voice their concerns and many felt played after it was reported that is he going to stay at Supersport. His agent Mike Makaab dropped the blow during an interview with Robert Marawa hours after it was said that the deal is the final stages. This was a u-turn fans weren't expecting as reports were very confident it would be finalized.

"To be a champion you must dedicate your life to your craft, relentlessly pursuing excellence. Sipho Mbule needs to work really hard at his craft."@MikeMakaab

"Every now and again a football player comes along and you see something different that if talent is unleashed properly they can be legendary. Sipho Mbule has great potential"

There's no answer about that could've caused the confusion, however Makaab's statement suggests that he thinks the star still has a of developing to do before moving to a big team. Supersport United shared that they would be welcoming offers for his services, however it looks like they may have had a change of plans more especially with the departure of Mokoena. It will be interesting to see what will happen in the next couples of weeks in terms of this story.
