Orlando Pirates to sign kaizer Chiefs target?

With only three games in eight days, the Orlando Pirates are in for a difficult time. Pirates will meet RS Berkane in the CAF Confederations Cup final, as well as Maritzburg United and Royal AM in league fixtures.

Despite having three games in eight days, the club is said to be working on upgrading their roster for next season. After the season ends, the July transfer market will open, and the club has been linked with one of Kaizer Chiefs' rumoured striker targets.

The Orlando Pirates are thought to be in the lead in the fight to sign Chiefs rumoured target Chibuike Ohizu. According to rumors, Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, and AmaZulu FC are all interested in Sekhukhune United's Chibuike Ohizu.

Samir Nurkovic has been linked with a move away from Kaizer Chiefs, and the team is desperate for a striker. AmaZulu FC is also in need of a striker after failing to achieve a higher ranking this season than last season's second place finish, which led to the dismissal of Benni McCarthy.

Orlando Pirates, on the other hand, did not struggle to score goals this season, as Kwame Peprah rediscovered his goalscoring form in December of last year, while defender Bandile Shandu scored several key goals for the club.
