Malema Urges PSL To Challenge Government To Open Stadiums

Fans have not attended PSL matches since the covid outbreak started in March 2020, and while government has allowed access for up to 2000 people, the PSL recently explained that they won’t open stadiums until target numbers are allowed.

“We call on the leadership of the PSL to stop being scared and cowardice and challenge this government,” Malema said during the EFFSiyabongaRally address.

If these politicians can call for campaign rallies and people come in numbers then fans too can be at the stadiums.

the problem is that the league is now sponsored by DSTV so they want people to be at home and pay for their DSTV decoders which is more money for them.

and if you want to watch football especially PSL you pay R410 for compact bouquet everything month.

Thembelani Frank Morris the issue here is not about other countries get with the program.

we are talking about south African football here..mind you when south africa was under a hard lock down other countries were walking about freely yet reporting vast numbers of those with Covid.

even Malema has seen that this thing of fans not going to stadiums is unrealistic thats why he is calling for fans to be allowed back.

mind you Covid is here to stay so we better get used to it if people are masking up sanitizing and getting vaccines then its only wise that they allow them to be in stadiums adhering to all set rules.
