Kaizer Chiefs before the season started they were working on contract extensions. They did extend the contracts of some players for a year with an option to extend for a further year. The supporters felt that most of the contract extensions were unnecessary. It would be interesting to see what will Kaizer Chiefs do differently at the end of the season when the contracts expire. Most of those Amakhosi players are barely playing. These players whose contracts are expiring at the end of the season are now under pressure to perform. Whatever chance they may be given, they will want to improve to earn themselves new contracts at Naturena.
Let's take a look at players whose contracts will be expiring at the end of the season at Naturena.
1. Lebogang Manyama - His contract expires but there is an option to extend for a further year.
4. Ramahlwe Mphahlele - His contract too is expiring but it has an option to extend for a further year.
5. Bruce Bvuma
6. Daniel Akpeyi
7. Kearyn Baccus
8. Lazarous Kambole
