After her side completed their fourth in a row, Royal AM owner Shauwn 'MaMkhize' Mkhize has reportedly made a bold statement as she challenges Mamelodi Sundowns who are playing the best football in the country at the moment, they make foot ball look easy and they defeating every team they play against very easy, but she feels they will meet their match they day they come against her team.
According to reports, Mkhize said they are not afraid of Sundowns as she believe that her boys are going to contest as much as they can and challenge for the league, she said they want to be as dominant as Masandawana are in South African football.
Is is also reported that she boldy said that her team is not relegation material since they have assembled a quality squad that can beat any PSL team including Sundowns, she believes her side has an ability to can win a silverware this season, it will either be the league or the Nedbank Cup, she is confident that her team will not finish the season without winning something.
“We are not afraid of anyone including Mamelodi Sundowns, we are going to fight for the league. We want to become the first team who want their dominant in PSL, we have good squad to do that and we didn't come to be relegated after one season. If we don't win the league we will win the Nedbank Cup surely, we are not materials of completing a whole season without a trophy. Sundowns watch out be ready for war, we aren't Pirates or Chiefs who you sees as your daily bread we are Royal AM," she said.
The KwaZulu-Natal based outfit will be heading to Tshwane to face the Unstoppable Sundowns on the 17th of December, it promises to be a thriller of a game, they are having a dream start to the season, they have so far won for games in six games, they are on position three on the DStv Premiership table, just four points behind the log leaders.
Mkhize and her son Andile Mpisane who is the Chairman of the club were all over the headlines on Sunday when there were seen paying their players bonuses in hard cash after their win over Maritzburg United, on the video, they were calling out players names while taking out stacks of cash from an envelope that they were having on their hands, something which they are being criticised for by many soccer fans saying that they should not have done that.
