Mosimane's Al Ahly trailed by one point as Misr El Makkasa won 1-0 in latest fixture

Misr El Makkasa won 1-0 against National Bank of Egypt as they managed to move into the fourth place spot one point behind Al Ahly.


Misr El Makkasa played their latest fixture in the Egyptian Premier league against National Bank of Egypt and managed to win the match 1-0 at full-time. Misr El Makkasa picked up a valuable three points from the match win as they managed to move into the fourth place spot on the table behind Al Masry and Al Ahly in the table. Misr is currently on 20 points and Al Ahly on 21 points and Misr has now managed to come the closest to the top spot. Al Ahly has not yet managed to play their outstanding matches in the Egyptian Premier league, as they have been busy with Club World Cup fixtures and their latest CAF Champions league match which are keeping them from playing their Egyptian Premier league fixtures.

Al Ahly is currently in second place with Zamalek in front and Al Ahly will need to start playing the Egyptian Premier league fixtures to catch up to the top spot. Misr El Makkasa managed to catch up with Al Ahly as they are only one point behind after their 1-0 win. Misr El Makkasa scored the winning goal of the match in the 28th minute as Shemeles Bekele scored as Misr won 1-0 against National Bank of Egypt.
