Premier League

Orlando Pirates top boss has revealed ambitious transfer plans for the january transfer window?

At the moment as sad as it seems in the DSTV Premiership Mamelodi Sundowns are currently running away with the league title as they just seem unstoppable and nobody can actually catch them

Although yesterday they were slightly delayed by a determined Stellenbosch FC side who held the Brazilians to a draw preventing them from doing what they do best which is grabbing and snatching all three points on a consistent basis

And earlier on in the season it seemed somehow that Mamelodi Sundowns would only have one particular challenger to the title in the form of fiercest and closest rivals SuperSport United as they also started the season quite well

But gradually SuperSport United have fallen away from the title race and do not look like a team that is capable of challenging Mamelodi Sundowns for the title or better yet even win the DSTV Premiership

While that has been going on the sleeping giants Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs earlier on in the season as well were also in poor form up until a few weeks ago that is when both clubs started picking up form

To a certain degree in terms of quality both Kazier Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are not that far off from Mamelodi Sundowns particularly the Bucs as well with the return of so many first team players in the new year

And at the moment Orlando Pirates are only a few signings away from being on the same level as Mamelodi Sundowns in terms of quality as they have the power and the resources to do so as well

In relation to new signings as well the Orlando Pirates top boss Fadlu Davids has revealed the club are looking to make a few additions as well come the january transfer window

"I think from the transfer window, we'll get some great signings in, and internally, if you take Pule being back, Lorch being back, if you take Lepasa being back and if you take Ofori being back,"

"Let's be honest... Lepasa, Lorch and Pule... that's our starting line-up front three,"
