Namibia and Sundowns legend: I had my doubts about Shalulile

Previous Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Ronnie Kanalelo has confessed to committing an error in his forecast, about Peter Shalulile when the Namibian striker was en route to the Chloorkop outfit.

As Shalulile had been connected with a transition to the Brazilians in the wake of dazzling with his exhibitions at Highlands Park, Kanalelo was one of the main individuals to voice out their questions about the move.

Notwithstanding, with the 27-year-old doing so well in the DStv Premiership and CAF Champions League for Downs, Kanalelo is taking ownership of his slip-up in anticipating that his kinsman would battle at the shielding class champions.

"Peter Shalulile began with a blast at Sundowns. He has fitted in well in their methodology, since I generally knew him as a player that consistently prefers to play on the ground. With Sundowns' ball ownership game I had my questions about him. He is an energic fellow who consistently trusts that the correct minutes will utilize his qualities. I didn't see it coming that he would fit in so well in the Sundowns game," said Kanalelo.

"I realize that he can run for an hour and a half and makes his own karma by keeping the protectors occupied. The protectors likewise know at this point that he is continually going to be on their case for an hour and a half. Regardless of whether he is advised to take a few vacation days, I can promise you that the following day he will be at preparing. That person has a lot energy and he needs to work consistently. He is a cooperative person and with him it's not about him scoring but rather he is glad to make for others also. That is one thing about him, he's rarely egotistical. On the off chance that there's a second where he has been narrow minded on the field, he will consistently apologize. Essentially, he is unassuming and I'm glad for him," he said.
