Maritzburg United have agreed with Venezuelan striker Jose Ali Meza from Mamelodi Sundowns.
According to Kickoff.com, Meza and Lucky Mohomi have headed out in different directions with Sundowns with Maritzburg, SuperSport United and Cape Town City answered to be looking at the players.
It has now developed that 29-year-old striker Meza has concurred terms on an agreement with The Team of Choice and is headed to KwaZulu-Natal to join Eric Tinkler's side in camp in anticipation of the new season.
"Meza has concurred terms with Maritzburg United. He is relied upon to show up in Pietermaritzburg at any point in the near future to finish his medicals," a source near the arrangement tells KickOff.com.
The Brazilians have just delivered Aubrey Ngoma and Sammy Seabi borrowed to Cape Town City and Swallows FC separately.
Maritzburg are known to screen Sibusiso Hlubi, Jabulani Ncobeni and abroad star Thabo Cele having just acquired Delron Buckley and Rowen Fernandez to sit on Tinkler's specialized group.
