Rhulani Mokwena reveals Mamelodi Sundowns close to completing a top class new signing?

For a club that is currently dominating the DSTV Premiership at this current moment and do not need to bolster or strengthen their squad at all Mamelodi Sundowns have been quite busy in the transfer market

The Brazilians are way out of sight in the DSTV Premiership as it is basically impossible for them to be caught at this moment in time considering they have and are also currently unbeaten and haven't lost a single match in the league

Then again that hasn't stopped Mamelodi Sundowns or prevented them from signing new players in this current transfer market as they have already wrapped up the signing of Cape Town City star Surprise Ralani early in the transfer market

And they have also been heavily pursuing the signings of SuperSport United duo of Sipho Mbule and Teboho Mokoena who are two of some of South Africa's finest midfield players at the moment in the DSTV Premiership

And of course considering the fact that both of them play for SuperSport United and the CEO of the club is Stanley Matthews they will most definitely not come cheap at all as the club will demand quite a lot of money to release such valuable assets

Then again over the weekend it emerged that Mamelodi Sundowns had wrapped up the signing of a new top class midfield player and it wasn't Sipho Mbule or Teboho Mokoena but rather Erwin Mario Saavedra Flores who plays for a club in Bolivia called Bolivar

Although it is not quite clear yet how accurate those reports are that Mamelodi Sundowns have actually wrapped up the signing of the midfielder as sometimes the media or speculation should not entirely be trusted with these kind of things

Then again the Mamelodi Sundowns top boss Rhulani Mokwena has addressed the situation revealing without mentioning any names that the club are indeed closing in on the signing of a top class player which may be a hint that it is Erwin Mario Saavedra Flores

"Every window there is work to he done. I think we are very close to concluding one transfer, incoming,"

"We are very close, but I am tight lipped on that one. The club will release a statement. We are close to signing a player who will be very important for us this season and we felt we needed a bit more cover with regards to a specific position,"
