AS Kigali has managed to overtake Orlando Pirates on the CAF Concaf points table after they drew 1-1 against CS Sfaxien in the CAF Concaf qualifications Round 3.

AS Kigali played the latest fixture in the CAF Confederations Cup Qualifications Round 3 against CS Sfaxien and managed to draw the match 1-1 at home. As Kigali set themselves up with a perfect lead in the last minutes of the first half, but lost that lead when they allowed Sfaxien to draw midway in the second half of the match. AS Kigali's draw and point win has managed to get them in 12th place above Orlando Pirates on the points table. Before the match As Kigali were in 17th and jumped five places after their 1-1 draw.

Orlando Pirates is currently in 14th as they are just one point and two places behind AS Kigali. AS Kigali scored the opening goal of the match late in the first half when Abubakar Lawal scored in the 44th minute to lead the match at 1-0. CS Sfaxien managed to equalised when Firas Chaouat scored in the 61st minute from the penalty spot to level the score on 1-1. AS Kigali and CS Sfaxien drew thd match 1-1 in the end.
