11-Year Wait Over, Bafana To Face France

Bafana are set to confront France in a high-profile cordial match which is planned for March.

With Bafana set to plan for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers which are planned to happen in June, the group's lead trainer Hugo Broos is expecting to have whatever number serious matches as could be allowed to get ready for the qualifiers.

Bafana haven't played since their mistake of neglecting to continue to the last round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in November.

The South African senior public group last played France 11 years prior during the 2010 World Cup match which the neighborhood side succeeded at Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.

The fresh insight about Bafana's match against the authoritative title holders has been affirmed by SAFA's Dominic Chimhavi.

"Indeed, Bafana will play against France and the match will be in March. It will be played in France," affirmed the SAFA's head of interchanges.
