It's safe to say that on Monday we may finish the season on number 6 on the log table when our bitter rivals play their game in hand.
That is not good enough for a big team like us, and a part of me is happy that over the past few days Arthur Zwane spoke with great authority during his latest interviews, he spoke about a mass Exodus in which players are expected to leave the team.
It's no secret we have underperforming players who are on big wages but are failing to deliver in the field of play.
Our 33-year-old defender in the form of Daniel Cardoso is expected to leave the club, ever since Stuart Baxter was relieved from his coaching duties the player himself has fallen in the pecking order.
He is expected to leave the club to free up space for potential young talented players to join our club.
Unfortunately for Daniel Cardoso is one those players who have to our club, he was a great servant but in the last seven years of our club he has failed to deliver any form of silverware to our club, on the other hand, he made a lot of mistakes this season and also at the age of 33 he doesn't have a lot of time playing at the highest level.
On the other hand, we paid 13 Million Rands to secure his services I don't think it was a great investment but our club has learned from our past mistakes.
The future defense of Kaizer Chiefs belongs to the likes of Austin Dube, Zitha Kwinika as well as Njabulo.
I like what Arthur Zwane said a few weeks ago, a player could be a top-class talent but it doesn't necessarily mean he is a Kaizer Chiefs material, going forward he wants players who are going to suit our playing style.
