Update: Major Return For Pirates Against Galaxy?

Update: Will Pirates Against the Galaxy make a major comeback?

Orlando Pirates winger Vincent Pule could make a surprise comeback to the squad when the Pirates take on TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday night.

Pule, 30, started the season well, contributing three assists in their first six league games. However, he suffered a catastrophic injury that has forced him to miss the club's next 21 games.

Although Olisah Ndah is a question for the match against the Rockets after picking up a knock in the 0-0 draw against Chippa United more than a month after returning to first-team training, it appears he may be able to make a return to the starting lineup.

As reported on the club's official website, captain Happy Jele, Goodman Mosele, and Linda Mntambo are all in contention to start as the team rotates its lineup in preparation for their journey to Libya, where they will take on Al Ahli SC in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup semi-final.

Against the relegation-threatened Galaxy, the Buccaneers are seeking for three points, with a win potentially putting them two points behind second-placed Royal AM, though they would have played one more game.

Swallows and Galaxy will meet this afternoon at 15h00 in a game that may be a genuine spectacle. A point for Galaxy would bring them up to 14th and force them back into the relegation play-off spot.
