Cavin Johnson To Kaizer Chiefs? Johnson Confirms Chiefs Talk.

Johnson Confirms Kaize Chiefs Talk.

Despite rumors to the contrary, Cavin Johnson has revealed that is some validity to the reports that he was in talks to join Kaizer Chiefs as Head of Youth before heading to Al Ahly.

Having previously worked alongside Pitso Mosimane at the Club of the Century, the 63-year-old has returned to South Africa.

The former Platinum Stars, Supersport United, Platinum Stars, AmaZulu, and Black Stars coach, on the other hand, stepped down from his position as Al Ahly assistant coach at the end of the previous season.

Johnson justified his decision to leave Al Ahly, emphasizing that he did not leave on poor terms with the company.

"Occasionally, after getting married, you learn that the marriage isn't going to work out. " The fact that there are other things that are influencing your perspective," he said on SAFM's Thabiso Mosia.

"There are certain things in life that you do for yourself and no one else, and that is the reason why I returned home.

"I wasn't in a bad mood. The problem is that you get married and are happy in your marriage, but there are many things that you feel are not going your way, and you end up getting divorced, without telling anyone why you got divorced.

"It was a cordial exchange of information."

Johnson was also questioned about speculations that he had been offered a position with the Chiefs as Head of Youth before joining Al Ahly, and he agreed that there is some validity to those claims.

A sliver of truth could be found in that statement. But, as I already stated, we'll have to wait and watch what happens the next time."

Johnson also said that he has not yet decided whether he wants to return to coaching or whether he wants to take on a role in the development of young athletes.

The reason he keeps talking to himself is so that he can figure out what the next step is going to be and where things can open up so that he is able to offer his expertise and do his absolute best for whoever needs it, he stated.
