Orlando Pirates Thump Stellies By 4-1

The Sea Robbers were no match for Stellenbosch FC on Sunday as they recorded a 4-1 victory over their opponents.

Goals from Thabang Monare, skipper Innocent Maela, Kermit Romeo Erasmus as well as a rocket by Ndlondlo were enough to allow the bucs to claim all points.

During the celebrations of the third goal, Orlando Pirates fans noticed something weird between their players.


In the build up to the goal, Saleng brilliantly set up his teammate Erasmus who executed in top fashion with his right foot. Erasmus had been long searching for a goal during the match and his celebration was a reference point.

In the picture above, you can see just how emotional Erasmus is and his teammate Kabelo Dlamini is seem pulling his hair. Fans were quick to notice this incident and also shared some funny side of this.

This fans joked that one day, goal celebrations will one day be the death of players. It's exaggeration to say the least but football is definitely about passion and is not exception.

This emphatic victory moved The Buccaneers to fourth place with 25 points while also leapfrogging their arch rivals, Kaizer Chiefs.
