Khune Wants To Play Every Game

Kaizer Chiefs interval mentor Arthur Zwane has revealed insight into Itumeleng Khune's part in the group following a time of decreased game time for the veteran goalkeeper.

A veteran of in excess of 300 vocation appearances, Kaizer Chiefs legend Itumeleng Khune has highlighted only once for the club this season, with that appearance coming in the club's MTN 8 quarter-last loss to Mamelodi Sundowns back in August.

From that point forward, the 34-year-old has ended up at the lower part of the Amakhosi's goalkeeping food chain where Bruce Bvuma, Daniel Akpeyi and all the more as of late, Brandon Petersen, have all been leaned toward between the sticks.

Regardless of Khune's absence of minutes on the pitch, notwithstanding, interval mentor Arthur Zwane demands that the previous Bafana star is as yet a significant figure in the changing area and that he will be prepared to play if and at whatever point called upon this season.

"Khune is an expert and I like him since he is engaged," Zwane said. "See, similar to whatever other player, there is no player who don't want to play each game. He truly needs to play and he is propelling himself in preparing

"It's simply an issue of determination. Brandon [Peterson] has been getting along nicely, Bruce [Bvuma] has been getting along admirably, and [Daniel] Akpeyi also. There is that opposition yet should an open door emerge once more, without a doubt he will get his reasonable part.

"We actually trust in him and realize he has that quality. He has the experience and [him] being in the changing area generally propels different players. He's in every case a vital part of the group, regardless of whether he is playing.

"He is a positive individual and he's anticipating his turn. Should that open door come any time soon, he will be prepared to contend on the grounds that he is a genuine expert, he is a 24-hour proficient."
