After losing to Sundowns by 3-2, Royal AM remained on fifth place and the club failed to climb up the log standings.

The club's hopes of finishing the season on second place took a huge blow now they will be forced to win their next game against Orlando Pirates which will be their last game of the season this coming Friday.

The KwaZulu Natal side have collected a total of 46 points so far this season after match day 29.

The club trail the second placed Cape Town by three points.

A win in their next game will put RAM to the second place since the club have a healthy goal difference as compared to the Citizens.

However it will not be easy for the club to collect points in their next gave since they will be coming against a side that also target for the second place finish.

Only three teams are competing for the top two finish which are CT City, RAM and Pirates.
