Chiefs questioned for not giving this star player a chance and why he is training alone at home

Kaizer Chiefs have endured a lot of questions lately about not including one of their key players on their line up. It's not only supporters that have shared this concern, but it's even former players that are still following football that continue to question Amakhosi's decisions. The major issue at the moment is their squad selection which might easily put Stuart Baxter job at risk if it doesn't change for the better. As the football fraternity has been wondering about the exclusion of Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune from the match day squad. Even though he had a great run in the DStv Compact Cup and as he helped his side Warriors FC to win the trophy.

That's when numerous Chiefs supporters noticed that he still have those incredible goalkeeping skills and they wanted Baxter to reinstate him back to the starting eleven. Now, the former Chiefs player Ntokozo Sikhakhane has posed crucial questions towards Baxter about Itu. As he's wondering what occurred, as he feels there's more to the story than what meets the eyes. “It appears that there are difficulties at Chiefs that we are unaware of, and we can discuss all day only to discover that the important people are aware of the true situation. For example, we all watched how great Itumeleng Khune performed in the DStv Compact Cup, but it’s shocking that he isn’t even on the Chiefs’ bench. Why isn’t the coach able to apply his knowledge? Do you want to suffocate his self-assurance?" asked Sikhakhane speaking to the media, as he's worried about Khune's football career.

Furthermore, Sikhakhane stated that he hopes that the former Bafana Bafana shot-stopper speaks out about his stay at Naturena, especially during Baxter's second stint. As he couldn't understand why he's not playing since he's their best goalkeeper. “The person has evolved, and from what I understand, he even trains at home with the new equipment he purchased for himself, and I believe the squad will benefit from a player with such experience and talent... I understand, he even trains at home with the new equipment he purchased for himself," said Sikhakhane speaking to the media.
