Orlando Pirates Announce Starting Lineup for Today's Game

Orlando Pirates have announced their starting lineup for today's game against Chippa United.

The Buccaneers are back in action this afternoon when the club host the Chippa boys at Orlando Stadium.

Pirates head to the game coming from a frustrating 1-1 draw against Stellenbosch FC in mid week action.

Pirates will be looking to improve from their performance against the Stellies to claim all the points this afternoon.

The Buccaneers could move to the summit of the log table if the club manage to claim a win this afternoon.

Currently the club sit on sixth place in the log table with a total of four points collected after match day two.

The club will be searching for their second home win that will get them to seven points.

Pirates could leapfrog Richards Bay to the top of the log table, however it will depend on how many goals the Buccaneers put behind the net as the Rich Boys have a healthy goal difference over Pirates.

Several players who joined the club in the current transfer window will also be looking to make their debuts in the colours of the Buccaneers.

Pirates will come up against a side that is also desperate for maximum points in Chippa.

The Chilli boys will be searching for their first win of the season after the club have lost once and drew once in two games played this season.

Currently the Gqeberha based side sit on 14th place in the log table, not far from the relegation zone.

The club have collected only a single point so far this season.

A win for the Chilli Boys will get the club to four points collected and possible on sixth place in the log table.

Pirates confirmed lineup:

Starting eleven: Orlando Pirates XI: Ofori, Ndah, Sibisi, Maela, Hotto, Monare, Mosele, Monyane, Lorch, Pule, Peprah.

Subs: Mpontshane, Nga, Mako, Xoki, Shandu, Tlolane, Dlamini, Motshwari, Timm.
