The Former Mamelodi Sundowns head coach was repeatedly knocking on the door of his former team when the transfer window was still open as he looked to snatch Gaston Sirino away from Chloorkop.
Mosimane is believed to have tabled a whooping R15 million per annum for the playmaker but the move failed to materialise as both clubs couldn't reach an agreement.
The failed move affected the Uruguayan emotionally because he was aware of his potential earnings. He succumbed to a feeling of apathy and looked like he didn't wanna play for the Chloorkop giants anymore but he managed to get back to gear recently.
Trusted sources have confirmed that the Uruguayan was gonna earn R15 million per year while getting bonuses, a car and a house allowance. The also good thing was that his family was going to be closer to Europe.
Sirino turns 30 this year and he knows the move would've benefited him magnificently as he's approaching the end of his career. He signed a 5-year-deal with the Brazilians last year but he's also conscious that there's still life after football which is one of the reasons why he wanted to secure the bag.
