Itumeleng Khune should be applauded for grooming Bvuma to be vocal : Opinion

In English there's been an old adage saying that "I have learnt from the best ,I have learnt from You" which in Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeping department can be associated with Bruce Bvuma who has been learning a lot from Itumeleng Khune

The bravery that Bvuma is showing these days between the sticks at Kaizer Chiefs is truly paying dividends for Amakhosi in the absence of Khune

When Brilliant Khuzwayo left Kaizer Chiefs for Orlando Pirates one would have been sure that Bruce Bvuma was gonna get game time in case Khune got some injuries or suspension

However Virgil Vries who is currently playing for Swallows FC was brought in to stand in as Khunes deputy. As if that was not shocking for then young Bruce Bvuma ,then came Daniel Akpeyi from Chipa United

But that never took away the patience and perseverance from Bruce Bvuma to wait for his day and make a name for himself, even though the arrival of then Ernst Middendorp as a head coach gave more game time to Akpeyi leaving Khune and Bvuma on the sidelines, Bvuma still had faith to shine one day

Then came in Gavin Hunt who showed so much faith in Bruce Bvuma when he had no tried and tested goalkeeper to play against Simba SC Football club from Tanzania in their last group stages matches home and away

With many soccer fans doubting Bruce Bvuma ,the 26 year old produced the best in FNB stadium keeping the clean sheet against the hard running Tanzanians to win the contest 4/0

And ever since that splendid display from Bvuma Kaizer Chiefs technical team has shown so much faith in him to carry on with his good form he has displayed at the back , proving to be as vocal as Itumeleng Khune has been over the years
