Stellenbosch FC Is Hoping To Sign Orlando Pirates Star Player?

Orlando Pirates fullback Thabiso Monyane is rumored to be a target for Stellenbosch FC. According to The South African Times, the Winelands side recently revealed that up to SEVEN – probably more – senior players would go in the summer after the regular season.

Those involved include Robyn Johannes, Waseem Isaacs, Stanley Dimgba, Nathan Sinkala, Sibusiso Mthethwa, and Zitha Kwinika.

To fill the voids, Stellies will have to enter the transfer window.

According to Kickoff, Stellenbosch are interested in signing Monyane, a 22-year-old who has yet to play for the Orlando Pirates this season.

Stellenbosch may also be able to sign defender Vusi Sibiya from the relegated Baroka FC.

"The club is looking for new members and has already identified a few,"It will elevate young lads from their MDC squad next season," a source added.

The DStv Diski Challenge champions for the 2021/22 season were recently presented to Stellenbosch FC's youth team.

Stellies are now third in the DStv Premiership points ranking, indicating that if the season ended today, they would qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

While their season is ended, Stellenbosch must avoid some ammunition in the coming week — from Royal AM and Orlando Pirates – if that is to become a reality.
