Kit Embarrassment Has Been Delt With :Jordan

South Africa football Association (SAFA) CEO Tebogo Motlanthe as well as President Danny Jordan, say the kit mess which bought embarrassment to the association last week Sunday against Zambia has been resolved.

The South African technical team was caught on camera wearing old Nike sponsored Jackets covered with a black cloth. Instead of the new Kit sponsored France company Le Coq Sportif.

Nike endeded its kit sponsorship deal with SAFA lasts year. While SAFA named Le Cof Sportif, as their new sponsors earlier this month. Many people were also not impressed with the way the kit launch happened.

They insist this was an administrative matter and has since been resolved bafana bafana lost their friendly game in rustenburg 2-1.But the match was overshadowed by the kit saga.

This is an administrative matter the CEO will have to deal with this issue and also deal with the staff members who have violated our regulations. When we noticed this we told them to take those jackets off, Jordan told the media on Friday.

We have just launched our kit with Le Coq Sportif we must be consistent in terms of branding so this matter has been dealt with, said Jordan.

Motlanthe says they met with Le Coq on Wednesday and they sorted everything out and also denied the claims that the sponsors were rushed, to be part of the match. While they were not ready. Also blaming Covid-19 for the challenges they have faced.
