2022-23 Big Things Are Coming at Chiefs, We Have Identified Our Weaknesses

Big things are coming in the 2022-23 season both of the Soweto Giants have appointed new head coaches and both teams have released, players who are not performing and made some very interesting signings as well.

As football fans in general we going to enjoy the next season, considering the top six teams are a lot stronger than the previous season. But in this article I'm going to focus on the process of Kaizer Chiefs, we have some of the exciting players in the division.

Last season we didn't have a proper number 10 on our line up as a result we relied heavily on the following players, Keegan and Khama Billiat for creativity. We learned from our Weaknesses and we went on to buy Yusuf Maart our new signing ranked heavily, especially on the creative front. He was in the top 20% on the expected assist per 90 minutes keep it in mind he is going to be playing, with better attackers next season who are prolific and are going to bury those chances.

As we all know Arthur Zwane is a coach who is very famous when it comes to developing youngsters, he touched on something very serious about our youngsters from the academy he was not happy with the fact that after a few games in the first team they drop their performances. He seems to have the solutions to the problem according to his own words it seems as if we are doing something wrong in the academy or the first team. he also challenged the players in our first team to push our boys from the academy, that way when it comes to transfers we are going to spend the big bucks when it's necessary, I believe big things are coming at Kaizer Chiefs.
