Pirates Striker Believed To Be Deadly Next Season?

Orlando Pirates striker Kwame Peprah was a key player in the club's attack of the 2021/22 season which was his maiden campaign with the club after joining with the club from Ghanaian Premier League club King Faisal.

Kwame Peprah played a total of 29 matches for Faisal in his last season with the club and scored a total of 12 goals with 10 assists which attracted the interest of Orlando Pirates.

Peprah started off well with Pirates as he delivered stellar performances for the club, but his first 12 matches in the league with Pirates was slow in terms of goals as he couldn't score any in the first 12.

On matchday 13 in the league Kwame Peprah awoken the deadly striker within him to score a brace against Marumo Gallants in December only after being criticised by fans for why he joined Pirates as a highly rated striker but didn't deliver with the goals.

Peprah kept his scoring form going as he added another brace just a few days later against AmaZulu FC which was consecutive wins for Pirates all thanks to Kwame Peprah for finally finding his form at the time.

From a very slow start, Kwame Peprah eventually ended the maiden season at Pirates with 9 goals in 38 matches across all competitions, which is good for a striker who had to familiarise himself with a new environment and still adjusting to the style of play in the South African Premier Soccer League.

Kwame Peprah had one season to make use of to get to know the PSL, and next season he should be scoring more goals for Pirates as he already had time to adjust with our local football.

Peprah got really close to scoring double figures for Pirates, and next season he has the opportunity to do just that.
