The former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns star player, Jabulani Mendu has turned into the modern day messiah, giving back to his community hosting a Fun Walk and family fun day on Wednesday the 16th of June. The Soccer star has opened his hands and heart as he scratched deep down his pockets to give back to society by hosting the event on the upcoming Youth Day.
Mendu has organised an event where people will have the opportunity to join in on a 5km and 8km walk and after a picnic will be taking place to accommodate all those who want to participate in the fun walk and event. Jabulani Mendu called out that everyone of any age is welcome to join in. Food and beverage will be on site, as music and entertainment will also be provided as local artists will be performing Live to keep the crowd entertained.
Mendu does not just give back to the community to help others but will be having stalls at the event which will have The Jabulani Foundation Clothing range, which people can buy to raise funds for his foundation so that he can give back to the community again when the time of need to help and assist draw near.
The former Chiefs player has a heart of gold and what he does for his community is exceptional as that goes without saying. The event will held on the date of 16 June and will be stationed at Crisp Lifestyle, Vosloorus. The event is said to be an all-day fun filled event and registrations will cost R100 which will go toward his foundation for Charitable purposes.
Once fame has caught up with an individual, life changes as they will better themselves and adjust to their high paid lifestyles. There is actually just a few of those who has acclaimed fame that actually gives back to society and Jabulani Mendu deserves and applaud, well done.
