Pirates star receives a special award

Orlando Pirates Football Club is one of the big-spending clubs in the South Africa football fraternity, the club always signs more than three players every transfer window with the recently ended transfer window brought in seven players.

One of those seven players they brought in is the 23-year-old Monnapule Kenneth Saleng, from GladAfrica Championship side Free State Stars Football Club on the fee that was reported to be around 2 to 3 million of hands.

Banana Bafana International joined Pirates after a brilliant 2020/2021 season in the 2nd division of South African football, where he scored 13 goals in the league to be the league's top scorer.

Due to complications between the Premier Soccer League, Sekhukhune United, and Royal Andile Mpisane Football Club Saleng was unable to receive his goal-scoring award until yesterday.
