The players were found taking part in an Easter tournament at Moletjie only a day before Leopards was defeated by Amazulu FC at home.
The trio will appear before the club's Disciplinary hearing at the end of the season where a final decision will be taken.
According to FarPost Leopards held a meeting on Wednesday where the players were informed of the team's decision to suspend them.
Leopards are currently sitting on the rock bottom of the DStv premiership log and the team is unlikely to survive relegation this season after they survived last season via playoffs.
Reports suggest that the club feel betrayed by the players to participate in amateur football given the situation that the club is currently in.
