A footballer has called off his marriage to complete his plans to move to Europe, it has been claimed.
Sierra Leonean footballer Mohamed Buja Turai is said to have not changed his marriage rumours and instead proposed a move to Swedish club Malmo.
British media said the 27-year-old chose his brother as his wedding representative.
"We got married in Sierra Leone on July 21, 2022. But I'm not here because Malmo asked me to come earlier," Toure said.
But before leaving, he snapped a photo of his own wedding and wrote: "I married my girlfriend, wife and best friend today! What a beautiful woman! What a blessing! Can't wait. Enjoy life ." With you, Mrs SBT Suad Baydoun. "
According to reports, Toure has not been in contact with his wife since their marriage.
But he has already made his debut for his new club, playing the final nine minutes in Luxembourg's 3-0 win over Didieron. Still, the two committed to a regular honeymoon.
