Chiefs-bound Striker To Be Replaced By Pirates Striker?
Date: 15/04/2022
Kaizer Chiefs reported striker target, Chippa United's Bienvenu Eva Nga who's reportedly believed to be Chiefs-bound, might be set to be replaced by a striker from Orlando Pirates to fill the void he will leave at Chippa should he leave the club at the end of the season as a source claim.
According to a source, should Eva Nga leave a void at Chippa United, Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa is believed to a replacement option even if the club can only sign him on a loan deal from Pirates.
Zakhele Lepasa missed out in quite the amount of football since he was ruled out in 2020 with a long-term injury, but he made his way back to the club this season with his first match back being against AmaZulu FC in December, and since then he has been a regular in the club's selection.
Chippa United's chairman Siviwe 'Chippa' Mpengesi is believed to be a fan of Lepasa as he made a move for the young striker in 2019. According to the source, should Pirates make him available for a move away permanently or on loan, Chippa United will be keen to go for him.
