Ronwen Williams sending a strong warning to Kaizer Chiefs

The Matsatsantsa's number one goalkeeper is feeling confident for the match against Kaizer Chiefs.

Ronwen Williams, the goalkeeper of SuperSport United, says the team intends to dominate Kaizer Chiefs in their next match on Sunday.

SuperSport United will host Kaizer Chiefs at Lucas Moripe Stadium in an attempt to keep their unblemished start to the PSL season intact.

Willians claimed that previous results don't matter because the Chiefs haven't beaten SuperSport in their last five matches.

"I'm not bothered about the records." Every game is different, with different players and approaches," Williams explained to the press.

"However, it is a home game for us, and we have performed admirably." We lost one game at home to the Golden Arrows last year, and we don't want it to happen again this year.

"We want to make it a fortress, and we've continued that fantastic momentum at home this season, and that's the most important thing for us — to go out there and dominate."

Chiefs come into this match with a 4-0 win over Chippa United, with goals from Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly (brace).

They've researched the Glamour Boys, according to Williams, and they need to figure out how to keep Dolly and Khama Billiat quiet.

""It's not going to be easy," he added, adding that Dolly and Billiat have "came alive" in recent weeks.

"We are going to stick to our game plan since we prepared well and watched and analyzed their game plan, so it'll be a close game.""

After working with him at both SuperSport and Bafana Bafana, the accomplished goalkeeper praised Chiefs mentor Stuart Baxter as a fantastic coach.

"It will always be a deadly game." The Chiefs are still one of the best teams in the country, with a fantastic coach in Andy Reid "Added he.

“I'm extremely familiar with him, and it's not going to be easy. They're going to fight it out on the field."

SuperSport are now in second position in the PSL table, four points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, who will be playing in the Caf Champions League this weekend.
