Sad news for Shauwn Mkhize and son after their cash stunt

The South African Union of Soccer Players (SAFPU) condemned Royal AM owner Shauwn Mkhize and her son for raining 200 rand after Royal AM beat Maritzburg United

The owners of the club were caught on cameras that injected large sums of money. MaMkhize and her son Andile Mpisane were recorded shortly after the final whistle in their DStv Premiership derby win against Maritzburg United handing out money in a brown envelope to players on live television.

Shauwn and her son have been trending after their wild party. However, wild celebrations have divided Mzansi. John Madukacoched's team beat Maritzburg United 21.

With their result they finished third in the current overall standings. His victory prompted the club president, Mpisane, and his mother, Mkhize, to gift their player cash bonuses. SAFPU hits Shauwn Mkhize and Andile for showing their money on live TV

The duo "made it rain" R200 notes.  "This should be condemned in the strongest teams," SAFPU's Calvin Motloung told Kickoff.

“What they have done is disrespectful to the players and even to the league. They also put players' lives at risk by inviting tsotsis to follow players.

“That doesn't help the league as a global brand either. I don't know why they were eager to pay the players in the locker room. This was done to show off, and the sad thing is that they still owe some players salaries but have the guts to inject money in front of television cameras, Motloung concluded.

However, after six matches, Royal AM has 12 points thanks to four wins and two losses in form. Then, after the next international break, they will be in action in a victorious away match against the sick Marumo Gallants on Wednesday, October 20 at 5:00 p.m.

Other news reported that Royal AM players were dissatisfied with the gesture made by the club's owner, Shauwn Mkhize, and president Andile Mpisane.
