Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg Alsace has announced the signing of Senegalese international striker Habibou Mouhamadou Diallo as reported by goal.
Habibou Diallo was born in the third largest city in Senegal, which is Thies.
The city of Thies boosts a population of around 320 000.
He was born on the 18th of June 1995.
The Senegalese international goal poacher impressed the technical team of RC Strasbourg Alsace after some impressive performance for FC Metz in Ligue 1 last season.
He made 26 appearances, producing 12 goals and 3 assists.
Habibou Diallo comes in as a replacement for South African international striker Lebo Mothiba, who got a recurring knee injury during pre-season.
Rulling him out for half of the season as he is expected to be back early next year 2021.
Ironically before the Ligue 1 season started RC Strasbourg Alsace coach Thierry Laurey told kickoff that he won't be signing a striker in replacement of Lebo Mothiba after he just got the injury, but a string of disappointing performances obliged him to go on and sign Habibou Diallo to help with the goals.
RC Strasbourg Alsace lie on the 18th position on the Ligue 1 table for 2020/21 season after collecting only 3 points from their 6 league games.
