Orlando Pirates Coach Mandla Ncikazi lashes out after the CAF Confederations Cup match 1-0 loss against the Tanzanian outfit Simba SC on Sunday evening.The match played behind the 60-000 capacity at Benjamin Mkapa stadium in Tanzania.Ncikazi was not pleased with the conduct of the match officials and the treatment they got in Dar es salaam in preparation for their quarter final match.
Speaking to Journalists after the match in Tanzania he said"We dont deserve to loose this match.As Africans we need to change this mentality that when opponent's come to Tanzania must be treated bad ,treated like animals.You are so hostile to them, Before Simba SC got the penalty we were supposed to be given a penalty for Siphesihle Ndlovu but it was not given.All of a sudden VAR was switched off .
"The penalty which were given to Simba it was not a penalty ,it is clear that the defender Happy Jele went to the ball first .According to the rules VAR were supposed to be used but it wasn't".Simba SC got the only goal via a penalty scored by Shomari Kapombe.
