Stellies officially announce three departures

Prior to the 2022/2023 season, Stellenbosch FC announced the departure of three first team players.

In order to get in shape for the upcoming season, teams have already started their preseason workouts again.

With Stellies already stating that Nathan Sinkala, Granwald Scott, and Sibusiso Mthethwa will leave the club, there has been a lot of transfer action in recent weeks.

During the most recent 2021/2022 Dstv Premiership season, Sinkala made 18 appearances, whilst Scott only made four appearances and managed to score once, in a 1-0 victory over Cape Town Cty on the final day of the season.

The Siya crew had also earlier stated that AmaZulu and the recently promoted Richards Bay FC were keeping an eye on Sinkala's predicament.

Zambian-born professional footballer Nathan Sinkala (born November 22, 1990) is a defensive midfielder for the national teams of Zambia and Stellenbosch of South Africa.
